This is Clip 10 from the Thirtieth Archive release of our stock footage. This is two simple versions of TV Static or white noise as seen in Poltergeist. This footage is from my personal collection. I have tried to organize these clips with titles and countdowns so they are easier to use. COMMENT: I am releasing these Stock footage Clips for free so that editors who can't afford footage will have access. Please don't try to just sell this footage as stock footage. You must use the material in some creative way to possess any rights to it. It would be nice if you give credit to Ivan Bridgewater and the Internet Archive too. These are my only copyright requests. Subject: How to download TV Static
Hello everyone... To download most items in the archive....choose the file you wish to download. Pick the file type you wish. In video, two or three choices might be availabe such as AVI or MPEG-2 or MPEG-4. The larger file size usually means better quality video and a longer download time. Once you choose the file and file size you wish, you RIGHT CLICK on the highlighted area that states the file size and a drop down menu should appear. One choice that should be available should be "Save Target As". Click that choice and the computer should ask you where you wish to save the file. Pay attention to where you save the file to so you can find it later. After a short time the file should be downloaded and ready for your use.

I have been told by a Mac user that the mouse doesn’t have a right click. You Have to press control instead.

Your a lifesaver! I needed some static for my short film and as you said...couldn't afford to buy any! It's just not that easy to get regular tv static these days!

More brissance.

Today, it would be a blue screen saying "No Signal" or "Check Cables".

Decades ago, I used my Apple ][ to make static for a scene
in a Super 8 SF film.

I'm tempted to post it at Archive.org.
